Snow Trekking in Bukhansan mountain (Mt. Bukhan is Korea National Park)

I have been to Baekundae (White Cloud Mountain Peak) peak at Mt. Bukhan(북한산 백운대) with my Hong Kong guests. I became snowman - you can understand wen you see the picture below. It was really beautiful snow all day long.  The weatherman said it will stop in the morning, but it had been snowing until in the evening. 

My 5 guests from Hong Kong really got a kick out of it. 5 members ut of 7 members joined the tracking to Baekundae at Mt. Bukhan. The other 2 members went to shopping, so piety for 2 members. 

It was so lucky to see the snow scenery and awesome. So~~~~o beautiful. We went to the peak "Baekundae(백운대)" from "Ueidong(우이동)".  It is average 3.5 hours course for Korean. But it took 7 hours for the guests. Because safety comes first and it was heavily snowed last Saturday.

↑ You can see the photo which I looks like snowman and the natural "Snow Flower on my hair." I was so interesting. Trackers I asked me if it is natural, I said "Absolutely" it is natural. Actually the Baekundae named after "White Cloud mountain Peak" But today my hair itself looks like Baekundae. My guest said to me "You looks like 100 years old man." I couln't agree more. Ha Ha Ha ~~~  ^^. 

On our every way to and from the peak (Baekundae, 백운대) was so beautiful tourist attractions. Even for Koreans it is difficult to this beautiful scene. Because it is snow average 20 days during winter, and it is really little chance it is snow on weekends. So, it difficult for even Koreans to see this beautiful snow scenery on weekends while they are off-duty. 

Generally, Korean mountains are gentle(gradual), so you can enjoy mountains easily even some places (e.g. Baekundae) are dangerous. My guests couldn't go because the 'beautiful snow stopped them to take pictures'. I understand the photos are very important for the memory of the tour, so I couldn't push them to go. There are four seasons in Korea. The four seasons make the mountain more beautiful. You can enjoy different colors in different seasons. Enjoy four different scenery in four different seasons. This time was winter snow scenery.

My guests enjoyed every steps to take pictures, so took long time to the peak. This picture(only the snow) is automated picture by Google, but the scene was same like this. You can see the real movie also ↓. Imagine you are walking in the all white snow covered mountain. It will take your breath away. 

We are in a hurry let's keep going, but safety first.

On our way to Baekundae, my guests are enjoying the snow scenery - got a kick out of it. They said to me that they kept their fingers crossed for them selves to see snow, it worked. White snow, blue backpack, red and yellow clothes made perfect matches.

 This is Insubong(인수봉) peak where only the professional climber can go up (rock climbing only when the weather condition is good). Many rock climbers go on the peak during the summer. In the winter, it is for sightseeing. We have to follow the rule of the nature.

After tracking I was preparing for lunch - Korean style: Cup Ramen and Gimbab (컵라면과 김밥). I am a good model for commercial of Sin Ramen (brand),  Ha Ha. It was so wonderful tracking with snow. I was happy also with my good guests those who know what the tour is. It will be a good memory for my life. I am proud of that we have these beautiful mountains and four seasons to make people happy.
