Gwan Ak mountain.

Gwan Ak mountain is located in the southern end of the Soul. It is on the subway Line 2. And it is also just below(south) the Han river. Because it is legend that when the mountains was made long long ago, the mountains(It is called Han Nam Jeong Maek those are consisted of Cheong, Baekun, Gwang Gyo, Gwan Ak) started from Suwon as the name of kwang Gyo mountain the mountains met Han river and stopped abruptly. After the stop, the mountains went into the air 629.1 meters, It is called Gwan Ak mountain. It was strategically important military territory.    

The Gwan Ak mountain has the power of fire. If a palace face it, the palace will be set fire. So there are many Hae Tae(Imaginary animal) which protect the buildings from fire. And monk Mu Hak made pond in front of the Nam Dae Mun(Sung Rye Mun). 

There are many trails in this mountain. For example trails to the peak from different directions, circumference trails(둘레길) to take a tracking along side the foot of the mountain. After circumference trail hiking, you can enjoy Korean food at Shinrim-dong(신림동) ; Sundae(순대). 

This is pavilion type Buddhist temple 

at mountain peak(Yeon Ju Dae, 연주대). 

This mountain will give you fire power. 

So you will feel great after the hiking.
